It sets out, in black and white, how the Tories:
- Promised to bring net migration down to the “tens of thousands”, only for it to remain far above that level every year they were in office - even reaching a record 944,000 in the year ending March 2023
- Pledged that Britain’s borders would be under control - “No ifs. No buts.” - only to preside over record levels of immigration
- Nearly tripled university tuition fees, hiking them from £3,290 to £9,000 a year
- Kept the inheritance-tax threshold frozen at £325,000, dragging more families into the 40% tax trap
- Unleashed the Boriswave, as Boris Johnson and Priti Patel’s post-Brexit visa system sent immigration to record highs
- Rushed Net Zero by 2050 through Parliament after barely 90 minutes of debate, despite the treasury putting the cost at around £1 trillion
- Blocked fracking and stopped Britain from tapping the energy beneath our own feet
- Oversaw the first UK-wide Covid-19 lockdown, the largest infringement on the rights and civil liberties of UK citizens ever imposed by a British government
