First Minister John Swinney will try to distract everyone by banging the drum for independence. Well, voters are fed up with that trick.
A majority of them don’t want another divisive referendum. They want cheaper energy bills, an efficient NHS and public services they can actually rely on.
Most of all, they want an economy that creates growth, jobs and prosperity rather than one that relies on gimmicks and giveaways.
Meanwhile, the SNP’s failure to gain a majority in these elections means they are going to need support from their friends in the Green Party.
This ramshackle gaggle of extremists will use their newfound leverage to try to impose their reckless policies, such as opening our borders, abolishing prisons and legalising drugs.
We cannot allow that to happen. For the sake of Scotland, we will make our voices heard loud and clear and demand that the government puts the real needs of the Scottish people first.
Thrilled as I am by our recent success, I’m a competitive guy. I want more. We’ve got two by-elections coming up and we are going to throw absolutely everything we've got at them.
