Yes, this charity tried to persuade judges that balding and wrinkled men were children. It helped a Sudanese man who broke into Britain secure accommodation with children. It claimed that an Ethiopian man with a receding hairline was 17. He turned out to be 22. The judge said that he had tried to mislead the authorities to secure the perceived benefits of being an unaccompanied asylum-seeking child.
Care4Calais also helped a Sudanese man who broke into Britain by boat and claimed to be 17. He had wrinkles, and a judge found him to be an adult.
In fact, Care4Calais has a dedicated age-disputes team that helps illegal migrant men challenge age assessments. This is effectively a criminal racket operating in plain sight.
In August, it emerged that Vodafone had given 2,500 SIM cards, loaded with six months of free data, to Care4Calais for distribution to men who had broken into Britain.
Vodafone’s CEO rakes in £10 million a year, while her firm hands out thousands of SIM cards, via Care4Calais, to men who are invading our country.
Under a Reform government, Vodafone’s entire board of directors will be held criminally liable for aiding and abetting illegal entry into Britain. Its government contracts will be withdrawn.
Aiding and abetting illegal entry will become a strict-liability criminal offence. That means all Care4Calais staff engaged in these activities can expect to be prosecuted.
